器峰窯　花鳥紋角皿（中） / Blue and white square plate (medium)

日本で産出される陶石（磁器原料）の8割を占める、と言われる天草陶石。
この天草陶石を用いて、天草の地で岡部夫妻の手で一点一点丁寧につくられた器。
俊郎さんのつくった器に、綾子さんが絵付けを。
草花と鳥類を組み合わせた文様、花鳥紋。
横向きの鳥の表情が何とも言えない可愛さ。
大きめサイズなので、様々な用途に使えますね。
